Plenty of couples arrive at MapleVow with an invitation they already love. Maybe it came from a Canva afternoon, an Etsy designer, or a local stationer. Until now, the digital invitation had to be rebuilt from one of our templates — close, but never quite your invitation.
That gap is closed. You can now upload your finished invitation and make it the invitation your guests actually receive.
How it works
In the Digital Invitation editor, choose Upload your invitation and add a JPG, PNG, or WebP of your design (up to 10 MB). MapleVow optimizes it automatically for fast loading on guests' phones, so a print-resolution export is fine.
Your uploaded design becomes the entire invitation. MapleVow adds just two things on top: the RSVP button and the wedding website button. You choose where they sit — above, below, or overlaid on the invitation — and pick the button colours so they feel like part of the design. Everything else stays exactly as you designed it.
Change your mind later? Remove the image and your MapleVow template comes right back, with all its settings preserved.
Your RSVP page can match
An invitation sets a tone, and it always felt odd when the RSVP page didn't follow it. Now it can: in the RSVP form builder, choose Match invitation and the RSVP page picks up compatible colours and typography from your invitation — and keeps following it if the invitation changes.
Want something different at the top of the RSVP page? You can also upload a separate RSVP header image, independent of the invitation. Use a photo, a crest, a floral detail from your suite — it never touches the invitation itself.
Also new: clearer typography choices
While we were in the neighbourhood, the invitation font pairings got a real glow-up. The script pairing now uses Great Vibes, a true calligraphy face, instead of an italic serif — so the three pairings (all-serif, serif with clean sans, and calligraphy with clean sans) each look genuinely distinct, in the editor and on the guest-facing invitation alike.
Getting started
Open your wedding, head to Digital Invitation, and either keep designing with a MapleVow template or upload the design you already have. Then visit the RSVP form builder and try Match invitation to carry the look through.
