Automatic invitations and RSVP follow-ups

The Invitations page (Invitations & Follow-ups) sends your invitations, follows up with guests who have not responded on a schedule, and can remind confirmed guests before the wedding.

How to do it

  1. Open Invitations in your dashboard.
  2. Review setup: fix anything marked, such as the wedding date and time, venue, address or an RSVP deadline in the future.
  3. Channels: choose Email, SMS or both. With both, email goes first and SMS is used as a later, final follow-up, never at the same time.
  4. Follow-ups: turn on automatic follow-ups and choose how many days apart they are sent.
  5. New guests & reminders: choose whether guests you add later are invited automatically, and turn on the 3-day and wedding-morning reminders for confirmed guests.
  6. Preview your messages, tick the confirmation box and click Launch invitations & activate follow-ups.

What guests receive

Each guest gets the invitation with their personal RSVP link. Guests who have not answered get a gentle reminder on your schedule, up to a set number per guest. Reminders stop the moment a guest responds or when the RSVP deadline passes.

Guests added later

With "Automatically send their invitation", new guests are invited shortly after you add them and then join the follow-up schedule. Otherwise they show as "Not invited yet" until you send their invitation from the Guest list.

Confirmed-guest reminders

Optional emails for guests who said yes: one 3 days before the wedding (around 10:00 AM) and one on the wedding morning (around 8:00 AM), wedding time.

Pause or change it

From the Invitations page you can edit the plan, pause follow-ups, pause all automatic sending, or turn follow-ups off. You can always still send messages yourself from the Guest list.

Good to know

  • Only guests with an email address, or a phone number with SMS consent, can be reached automatically.
  • Sending a reminder yourself resets that guest's follow-up schedule, so they are not contacted twice in a row.
