Save-the-dates and custom email updates
Besides invitations and reminders, you can email guests your own message: a save-the-date, a change of plans, hotel details or a thank-you.
How to do it
- Open Guest list and click Email guests.
- Choose the Custom update email type.
- Send to selected guests, or to everyone with certain RSVP statuses (for example, only guests who are attending).
- Write a subject and message, or click Use save-the-date template. Check the live preview, then send.
Personal details
Add placeholders such as {{guest_name}}, {{wedding_date}}, {{venue}}, {{rsvp_link}} and {{website_link}}. Each guest sees their own name and personal links.
Save-the-date video
Have a save-the-date video? Add your YouTube or Vimeo link in the Video section of your Wedding website, then use {{video_link}} in the email.
Good to know
- Emails count toward your plan's email limit, which you can see under Usage.
- Guests who unsubscribed or whose address bounced are skipped automatically.
