Getting started
Is MapleVow only for weddings in Canada?
MapleVow is built for Canadian couples and planners, with prices in CAD and Canadian hosting. Couples outside Canada can still use it if the feature set fits their event.
How fast can I launch my RSVP page?
Most couples can create a wedding, customize the RSVP form, and share a link in a few minutes. You can keep improving the homepage, invitation card, and guest list after launch.
Can MapleVow import my guest list?
Yes. You can import guests from CSV, add guests manually, or use the general RSVP link when you want guests to enter their own details.
How do I collect my guests' mailing addresses?
Use Guest Info Collection, free on every plan. Share a link or QR code, guests submit their address and contact details, and you import their responses into your guest list with one click.
Can I use MapleVow in English and French?
Yes. Public wedding pages, RSVP flows, email copy, and key dashboard areas support English and French, with bilingual wedding pages available when enabled.
Guests, RSVPs, and messages
Can guests enter their own contact details?
Yes. The Guest Info Collection form lets guests fill in their address, phone, email, and any custom questions you add. Submissions land in your dashboard for review before they join your guest list.
Do guests need accounts or an app?
No. Guests open the RSVP link in a browser, answer the form, and submit. They do not need a MapleVow account or mobile app.
How do plus-ones work?
Couples invite the main guest and allow a plus-one when needed. The main guest can submit the extra attendee details through the RSVP form, so you do not need a separate email for every plus-one.
Can guests update their RSVP?
Guests can revisit their RSVP link and update their response when the page is still open. Couples can also edit guest records from the dashboard.
What if an SMS or email fails?
The dashboard shows delivery status where provider data is available. Failed messages are not resent automatically, so review the message log and resend manually when appropriate.
Plans, billing, and data
Can Free users buy SMS credits?
Yes. SMS credits can be purchased as an add-on when SMS sending is available for your account. You only pay for the credits you choose to send.
What happens to my page after the wedding?
Your page stays active for the post-wedding access window included with your plan. You can export your data anytime from the dashboard.
Can I use a custom URL or subdomain?
Custom URL slugs are available on paid plans, and custom subdomains such as yourname.maplevow.ca are available on Premium and Planner plans.
Can a planner manage multiple weddings?
Yes. The Planner plan gives professionals one dashboard for multiple weddings, with separate settings, guest lists, and client-facing pages.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Guest lists, RSVP data, budget records, and planning information can be exported from the dashboard.
Support and privacy
Why should I use a support ticket instead of email?
Support tickets are tied to your account, which makes it safer to discuss wedding settings, guest records, billing, SMS, and email delivery without exposing private details in plain email.
Where is guest data stored?
MapleVow stores production data on Canadian infrastructure and is designed around Canadian privacy expectations, including PIPEDA-aware handling of guest information.
How do I delete a wedding or request data help?
Log in and submit a support ticket for account-specific data requests. If you delete a wedding, confirm carefully because guest and planning records can be removed.
